About Canter Safari Ranthambore – The Canter Safari in Ranthambore National Park is an excellent choice for travelers visiting in large groups. These 4-wheeler open-top buses offer a comfortable and elevated view of the park’s wildlife, allowing you to enjoy sightings of tigers, deer, and other animals even from a distance. Compared to a gypsy, a Canter provides more seating capacity and is a perfect budget-friendly safari option.
Each shift allows 52 Canters to enter the park — one in the morning and one in the evening. Every Canter accommodates 20 passengers, along with a trained guide and driver. Canters are permitted in all Ranthambore zones except 7 and 8.
